Component Overview

Workflow Engine
CEITON Workflow Management encompasses information processing and digital automation of business processes.
Resource Planning
The scheduling area includes the planning and accounting of projects and their component tasks. Personnel, equipment and facilities are assigned their shifts and tasks here.
Project Management
Personnel, system, clients and suppliers are all integrated into a seamless process. Finished tasks can be automatically booked, evaluated and archived.
Integration (EAI)
Applications, tools and external systems, e.g. for payroll and cost accounting can be integrated using interfaces.

Time Tracking
The CEITON Time Tracking Module displays end users’ tasks, shifts, absences, availabilities or other workflow options. It has been designed as a responsive application with touch screens and small displays in mind.
Info Module
The Info Module can be used, for example, to show the weekly shift plan for a department or studio.
Master Data
As a basis for the production planning, the relevant data about employees and equipment is entered to CEITON. Access is restricted to authorized users.
Reporting Engine
You can create specific reports, offers and invoices, and output and print them in various formats.

Use Case
One public service broadcaster employs several thousand employees under various work agreements including unionised staff with complex working agreement rules, self-employed freelancers, and student employees. The production planning for content creation takes place in CEITON. The planner schedules the workforce, equipment and facilities correspondingly. Violations of working agreements or European working time rules are automatically displayed.
Scheduled employees are kept informed through the system and can request changes. The entire communications process runs in CEITON without additional mails or telephone calls. Working times can be entered from anywhere through the mobile app. The planned and actual activity times and costs for every project are tracked in detail and presented for approval. All data can be transferred safely and smoothly through interfaces to external accounting and payroll systems.
