Impressions of Leipzig, Saxony

Leipzig is a green, vibrant city with a rich historical heritage, and the office of Ceiton Technologies GmbH is located right in the centre. Leipzig boasts a lively culture, music and arts scene, with a world-class concert hall and orchestra, an opera house and various excellent museums. The city also hosts one of the largest alternative music events worldwide, the annual Wave-Gotik-Treffen. With a long tradition as a city of trade fairs, such as the annual Book Fair including the Manga-Comic-Con, Leipzig attracts many international visitors and students. The city has a population of approx. 600,000 residents and a friendly and open-minded vibe. The cost of living is comparatively low. Leipzig’s lakes and waterways are perfect for diverse water sports and swimming in summer. For hiking and climbing, the beautiful Saxon Switzerland National Park south of Dresden is only a two-hour train ride away.

Ceiton Technologies has scaled up over the years. Over ten years ago, we were about 10 colleagues in two small rooms. Since 2013 we have grown and hired new people, communication has become more organized and professional. When you work here as an IT developer, you are mostly in your flow and focused on developing, but you can also bring in your skills and creativity in different areas and think outside the box. Be curious and be eager to learn something new. You should be interested in new technologies like process automation in developing software. For working on the CEITON system, it helps to be proactive and always look for where you can add value.
