Latest customer wins for the new version 7 of CEITON’s workflow and scheduling platform – now officially launched, live and in 3D, at the International Broadcast Convention IBC. In addition: a fancy preview of the 2016 version, as well as an introduction to the new social media activities of CEITON. Get excited!
CEITON at Europe’s Biggest Media Exhibition
The IBC in Amsterdam is coming around again from September 11 – 15, 2015 with many technical product innovations and interesting presentations on all the latest audio and video trends: digital cinema and mobile TV, workflow optimization for “any platform & any device”, new production tools in the Cloud, and opportunities and challenges of ultra-HD and 4K video. More than 70,000 trade visitors are expected, who will meet with more than 1,700 exhibitors from all over the world. You can find out about all events and activities here in the visitor brochure. A complete exhibitor list with floor plan, calendar and contact options is also provided by the IBC2015 App.
At the exhibition we are introducing the new Version 7 of our workflow management and production planning platform CEITON for the optimization of all types of production processes: for efficiency and speed, more transparency and focus on the product instead of boring administrative and controlling tasks using email, spreadsheets etc. As usual you can find our product experts in Hall 3 at Stand A60. With our Customer Code 14521 you can save up to €150 on registration. To schedule an appointment with us, write a message to us at the bottom of the page or use the IBC Touch & Connect service.
In addition to the exhibition, of course it is worthwhile to experience Amsterdam with its unique liberal flair. As well as the well-known sights, such as the Royal Palace, the historical downtown, the Vondelpark, the Oude Kerk, the city canals, the Tropenmuseum, the Albert Cuyp market and countless museums and art exhibitions, the metropolis also delights visitors with three beaches in direct proximity to the city: Zuid, Ijburg and West. The city can be easily discovered with a relaxing canal tour, or explore it the traditional Dutch way using a rental bicycle.
Don’t let the European Media Event of the Year pass you by – we look forward to seeing you!
IBC Premiere of CEITON Version 7
The IBC showcases many new innovations around the production process in the Cloud and the shift to digital in all areas. As a production planning and control system, CEITON is naturally an integral part of this development. More than ever before, processes are more complex and changeable; yet they must be processed (and billed) ever faster and more efficiently. With manual control, however, one simply “burns out” employees and customers in the long run – which is something nobody wants.
In Version 7, CEITON shows better than ever before how an efficient production can be automated, so the load is taken off employees and production can be simultaneously improved. Also included is the new, mobile time-tracking for the simplified allocation of tasks and shifts to staff; as well as the current time-sheet collection and accounting for all times and activities. In addition, we will present a live preview of Version 7.5, which will appear in 2016 with a completely overhauled design, which shows how elegant a business application in a web browser can be. You can compare the before-and-after views here in our sneak preview.
New and Existing Customers Rely on CEITON
As well as new projects with long-term customers (such as SAB and T-Systems), CEITON has won new customers in the media & entertainment industry in the last quarter, including Yle from Finland and PULS 4 from Austria.
Yleisradio, Yle for short, is Finland’s public service broadcaster. Broadcasting since 1926, today it operates 5 TV channels, 12 radio channels and several online channels. CEITON will be implemented as the central planning system for the corporation with over 3,000 employees over the next few months. Isto Blomqvist (responsible IT Manager for Business, Mobile and Web Systems) says: “With CEITON we want to improve our inter-departmental planning and production processes, in order to be able to optimally support our employees in their increasingly complex tasks.”
PULS 4, a member of the ProSiebenSat.1 group is Austria’s fourth full channel. As Puls TV, the channel was first broadcast in 2004 and is today the most viewed Austrian private TV channel and therefore the number 1 among the Austrian private channels. Production Leader Andreas Kohlstock: “Due to our enormous growth in the last few years, we are increasingly dependent on professional tools, including for planning. CEITON will enable us to be able to produce even more efficiently and transparently in future.”
The specification phase with our consultants has begun in both projects, in which the customer-specific workflows will be realized based on the configurable CEITON platform.
